AS MARÉS DA ILHA - PLATAFORMA MULTIMÍDIA ILHA DE MARÉ: ENTRE COTIDIANO E CONFLITOS AMBIENTAIS is a website with photos, video interview and documents on the daily life of the quilombo’s communities of Ilha de Maré with the aim of stimulate a discussion on the existing socio-environmental conflicts and on the environmental racism characterised by the intense industrial exploitation of the Brazilian territory with the highest black declared inhabitants, the city of Salvador.
